USTR Starts Special South Africa AGOA Review Required By Renewal Bill

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative on Tuesday (July 21) kicked off an out-of-cycle review (OCR) of South Africa's eligibility to be a beneficiary of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) amid a tumultuous period in trade relations between the two countries because of Pretoria's trade remedy duties on imports of U.S. chicken.
