Civil society groups call for development-focused WTO ministerial

International civil society groups this week called on World Trade Organization members to prioritize the needs of developing countries by using next week’s ministerial conference to focus on longstanding development issues while forgoing plurilateral initiatives, allowing countries to impose duties on electronic transmissions and holding the countries most responsible for overfishing and overcapacity responsible.
