WTO, other international orgs launch platform to access subsidies info

Four major international organizations, including the World Trade Organization, have launched a platform designed to improve transparency in the global use of subsidies. The “ Joint Subsidy Platform ,” announced on Wednesday by the WTO, the International Monetary Fund, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the World Bank, is a website with collated information on subsidies in the agriculture, fossil fuels, fisheries and industrial sectors as well as cross-sectoral subsidies.
