WTO names new chief economist
The World Trade Organization on Tuesday named University of Zurich economics professor Ralph Ossa its new chief economist. The new hire comes after Ossa’s predecessor, Robert Koopman, stepped down in July. Koopman has joined American University as a senior lecturer in the School of International Service.
