WTO members voice concerns about proposed EU carbon tax

The European Union during a World Trade Organization committee meeting this week faced a chorus of complaints over its proposed carbon border adjustment mechanism, ranging from concerns about disruption of international trade flows to violations of WTO rules, according to a Geneva trade official.
