White House taps former USTR official for ITC

The White House today said the president would nominate Amy Karpel, a former Office of the U.S. Trade Representative official, to serve as a member of the U.S. International Trade Commission. If confirmed, Karpel would serve for the remainder of a nine-year term ending June 2020 – succeeding F. Scott Kief, who resigned from the ITC last June.
