Vilsack’s nomination hearing set for Feb. 2

A confirmation hearing for Tom Vilsack, President Biden’s nominee for Agriculture secretary, has been scheduled for next week. The Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee will host the hearing on Feb. 2. Vilsack, a former Iowa governor, was Agriculture secretary under President Obama.
