USTR grants new Section 301 tariff exclusions for some Chinese goods

Following China’s move to exclude some U.S. products from retaliatory duties, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative this week exempted hundreds of Chinese products from U.S. Section 301 tariffs. In total, USTR exempted more than 400 product lines included in the first three waves of tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods, according to notices scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on Friday .
