USDA to visit Taiwan, UK, Vietnam, others in 2019 trade missions
The Agriculture Department has seven trade missions planned so far for 2019, eyeing trips to Canada, Colombia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kenya, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Such missions are intended to forge and strengthen trade relationships with the hope of exporting additional U.S. agricultural products and reducing reliance on China, which bought nearly $20 billion worth of agricultural goods in 2017.
