U.S., Singapore ink deal to allow U.S. civil nuclear exports
The U.S. and Singapore on Wednesday signed a civil nuclear cooperation agreement during Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s official visit to the country, paving the way for U.S. nuclear exports and investment. “Through this agreement, as well as other capacity building initiatives ... the United States and Singapore intend to further strengthen civil nuclear cooperation to better understand how advanced nuclear energy technologies, including small modular reactors, can potentially support climate goals, while balancing critical energy needs,” the State Department...
