U.S. rebuts EU’s charge that steel, aluminum tariffs constitute safeguards
The tariffs on steel and aluminum imposed by the Trump administration are not safeguard measures, the U.S. said at the World Trade Organization last week, rebuffing the European Union’s effort to conduct talks under the organization’s safeguards body.
