UK formally announces intent to negotiate a trade deal with the U.S.

British Trade Secretary Liam Fox on Wednesday said the United Kingdom would seek to launch bilateral negotiations for free trade agreements with the United States and others, and would also consider acceding to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
