Trump signs biotechnology order directing USTR to work on lowering trade barriers

President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order crafted to make it easier for U.S. agricultural producers to access “new and innovative biotechnologies,” ordering the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to identify ways to lower trade barriers the administration says are hampering U.S. exporters.
