Trump picks trade lawyer for deputy U.S. Trade Representative

The president has announced he plans to nominate C. J. Mahoney, a partner with the Washington, DC-based Williams & Connolly, for a deputy U.S. Trade Representative slot. Mahoney will be tapped to serve as deputy USTR for investment, services, labor, environment, Africa, China and the Western Hemisphere, the White House announced.
