Solar trade group ramps up efforts to halt imposition of tariffs in 201 case

The Solar Energy Industries Association is ramping up efforts to halt the imposition of remedies that could result from an ongoing Section 201 investigation into solar imports. Under Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974, the investigation was initiated by the U.S. International Trade Commission on May 17 after a “Global Safeguard Relief” petition was submitted by U.S. solar companies Suniva and SolarWorld.
