New England governors, Canadian premiers emphasize trade in regional meeting
New England governors and eastern Canadian premiers this week touted the benefits of cross-border trade and urged a deal on a renegotiated NAFTA in a joint resolution issued during an annual regional meeting. “Both New England and Eastern Canada benefit from economic integration which stimulates innovation, reduces production costs and and increases the efficiency of supply chains,” the resolution reads.
