Neal announces 10 new Democrats on Ways & Means

Ten Democratic members have been added to the House Ways & Means Committee. New Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) announced the additions on Wednesday, saying they “hail from states across the country and bring a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences to our new majority.” The committee is expected to feature 24 Democrats and 16 Republicans, the reverse of the ratio in the 115th Congress.
