Mexican Chamber of Deputies approves labor bill

The Chamber of Deputies on Thursday passed labor reform legislation that Mexican officials believe fully complies with the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, according to Mexico's foreign affairs under secretary for North America, Jesús Seade. The bill now moves on to Mexico's Senate. Seade, in an April 11 tweet , called the move a “solid step” toward the ratification of the deal.
