Maine lawmakers ask Trump for trade aid for lobster industry

Maine's congressional delegation has asked President Trump to provide financial assistance to the lobster industry – as he has to farmers – to compensate for the effects of Chinese retaliatory tariffs. The lobster industry was “one of the first victims of retaliation imposed by China,” the lawmakers wrote in a June 7 letter to Trump .
