Japan said to eye Alaska LNG pipeline as outreach to Trump
Japanese government officials are considering backing a long-discussed pipeline in Alaska that would enable liquefied natural gas shipments across the Pacific as a way to stave off potential U.S. tariffs, Reuters reported on Friday after President Trump signaled in a first-day executive order that the project would be a priority.
