ITIF: Number of countries with data flow restrictions has nearly doubled in four years

The number of countries with regulatory barriers impeding the free flow of data across borders almost doubled from 2017 to 2021, reducing trade volumes and negatively impacting economies, the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation contends in a new report.
