ITC votes to maintain AD/CVD duties on Spanish olives

The U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday voted to maintain existing antidumping and countervailing duties on ripe olives from Spain despite ongoing pressure from the European Union to remove them in accordance with a World Trade Organization dispute ruling. The ITC “determined that revoking the existing antidumping and countervailing duty orders on ripe olives from Spain would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time,” the agency said in a statement ...
