House bill would encourage companies to move from China to Latin America

Two House lawmakers last week introduced a bipartisan bill that would direct revenue from tariffs on Chinese goods to efforts to incentivize companies to relocate from China to Latin America. Reps. Mark Green (R-TN) and Albio Sires (D-NJ) introduced the “ Western Hemisphere Nearshoring Act ” on April 28.
