Global Services Coalition: Regulatory costs of e-commerce duties outweigh gains

The regulatory costs of creating a regime to collect duties on electronic transmissions would offset any potential revenue gains for developing countries, the Global Services Coalition said on Thursday, arguing that the World Trade Organization should extend an e-commerce moratorium banning such duties.
