Former aerospace industry executive tapped for Commerce export administration post

The president on Friday announced he will nominate former aerospace industry executive Richard Ashooh to serve as assistant secretary of Commerce for export administration. Ashooh is the director of economic partnerships for the University System of New Hampshire. He has also served as the director of the Warren Rudman Center at the the law school of the University of New Hampshire, his alma mater.
