Finance Committee approves Nemelka for deputy USTR post

The Senate Finance Committee on Monday favorably approved the nomination of Michael Nemelka to serve as deputy U.S. Trade Representative for investment, services, labor, environment, Africa, China and the Western Hemisphere. Nemelka's nomination, approved 24-4, now heads to a vote in the full Senate. If confirmed, Nemelka will succeed C. J. Mahoney as deputy USTR.
