Companies seeking 232 uranium probe seize on DOE report showing U.S. production plunge

U.S. production of uranium is down 50 percent so far this year, according to a new report from the Energy Department that was cited immediately by two U.S. mining companies hoping the Commerce Department will initiate a Section 232 probe into the national security implications of uranium imports.
