Citing military concerns, BIS adds eight Chinese tech companies to Entity List

The Bureau of Industry and Security will add eight China-based technology companies to its Entity List, it said on Wednesday, citing Commerce Department efforts to prevent Beijing from obtaining U.S. emerging technologies – particularly quantum computing-related tech that would be used to support China’s military.
