Census: U.S. trade deficit decreased in October following September spike

The U.S. trade deficit decreased in October following a jump the previous month, while the U.S. trade deficit with Mexico continued to rise, the U.S. Census Bureau said in its monthly report. The deficit in October was $73.8 billion, down from $83.8 billion in September, the report says. “October exports were $265.7 billion, $4.3 billion less than September exports.
