Branstad confirmed as ambassador to China

The Senate voted on Monday to confirm Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R) as ambassador to China. Branstad, the longest-serving governor in U.S. history, was approved by an 82-13 vote after sailing through a confirmation hearing in early May.
