Bianchi confirmed by Senate for deputy USTR position

The Senate on Thursday voted to confirm investment banking executive and longtime Biden adviser Sarah Bianchi to serve as deputy U.S. Trade Representative. The vote was 85-11. It followed the confirmation of another deputy USTR nominee, Jayme White, on Wednesday. He was confirmed by an 80-18 vote. Only Republicans voted against both.
