Centrist Democrats push for new trade deals, better tariff-exclusion process
The Biden administration and Congress should pursue free trade agreements with the United Kingdom, Kenya and Taiwan and establish a more transparent exclusion process for Section 301 tariffs to lower consumer costs, the New Democrat Coalition said in a policy plan released on Tuesday.
