USTR asks ITC to launch Section 201 probe into blueberries

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative on Tuesday asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to launch a Section 201 global safeguard investigation into blueberry imports. USTR announced it would request the probe in a plan released earlier this month to address U.S. seasonal growers’ longstanding concerns that fresh produce imports from Mexico are harming their industry.
