APEC trade chiefs commit to facilitating movement of essential goods

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation trade ministers this weekend committed to ensuring any trade measures imposed in response to COVID-19 are “in accordance” with World Trade Organization obligations and also pledged to coordinate on “unnecessary” trade barriers to essential goods.
