Commerce to investigate Vietnamese currency practices in CVD tire probe
The Commerce Department on Tuesday said it will for the first time investigate an allegedly undervalued currency as a subsidy as it examines whether Vietnamese tire exports are being unfairly subsidized. Commerce launched antidumping and countervailing duty probes into passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
