USTR sets hearing, requests public comment on Japan negotiating objectives

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced on Thursday its plans to garner public comment on what the U.S. should pursue in trade talks with Japan. Comments on U.S. negotiating objectives can be provided in writing as well as in person at a public hearing scheduled for Dec. 10, which could extend into a second day, according to the announcement.
