White House extends 232 tariff exclusions for NAFTA partners, EU, reaches agreements with others

The U.S. will extend by one month its Section 232 steel and aluminum tariff exclusions for Canada, Mexico and the European Union, the White House announced on Monday. Agreements in principle have been reached with Australia, Argentina and Brazil, and the administration has also come to terms with South Korea, it said in an April 30 statement.
