Perdue orders creation of trade under secretary position at USDA

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue today will announce the establishment of an under secretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs position at the Agriculture Department, according to a USDA statement. USDA on Thursday transmitted a report to Congress detailing its plans to create that position and to make other organizational changes. Perdue will discuss them during a speech in Cincinnati this afternoon.
