Several members of Congress and administration officials, including President Obama, today were quick to link the Trans-Pacific Partnership to a U.S. request for World Trade Organization consultations with China over allegations that Beijing’s levels of domestic agriculture support for rice, wheat and corn crops breach commitments made in China's World Trade Organization accession protocol.
