U.S. Wheat Industry Seeks More Action To Counter Chinese Trade Policies
The U.S. wheat industry is applauding the Obama administration's decision to move toward challenging the Chinese domestic price support program for rice, corn and wheat at the World Trade Organization, but additional work is required to eliminate a suite of Chinese policies that distort global wheat trade and harm U.S. farmers, according to Alan Tracy, president of U.S. Wheat Associates.
