FINANCE CONSIDERS PERU DRAFT FTA, APPROVES BEEF AMENDMENT

The Senate Finance Committee yesterday (July 27) informally considered a draft bill that would implement the U.S.-Peru free trade agreement, and approved an amendment that committee members said would force Peru to open its market to all U.S. beef without age restrictions before the FTA can go into effect.
