Colombia, in side letter with U.S., committed to 60-day reviews of FTA

Colombia committed in April to update the U.S. every 60 days on commitments the country has made to avoid losing some benefits under the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement. The April 24 side letter, obtained by Inside U.S. Trade , says "Colombia will inform the Office of the United States Trade Representative every 60 calendar days, starting from the date of entry into force of this exchange of letters, regarding Colombia's efforts to complete the commitments contained in this agreement."
