Canada seeks NAFTA language on multilateral environmental agreements

MEXICO CITY -- Canada has proposed a new NAFTA chapter on environmental provisions that includes a commitment to multilateral environmental agreements, which is expected to be a nonstarter for the U.S., sources said.
