AFL-CIO Welcomes DOL Honduras Report, But Faults U.S. Approach, Delay
The AFL-CIO has welcomed last week's finding by the Department of Labor (DOL) that Honduras fell short in enforcing its labor laws, but faulted DOL for taking nearly three years to complete its investigation and for its decision not to recommend formal labor consultations with Honduras under the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA).
