Wyden’s de minimis reform bill draws bipartisan support

Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) on Thursday said his proposed bill to overhaul the de minimis entry system has garnered support from both parties. The “ Fighting Illicit Goods, Helping Trustworthy Importers, and Netting Gains for America Act ,” which Inside U.S. Trade reported earlier this week would bar textiles and apparel products and goods subject to trade remedies from the entry system, has the support of Senate Finance members Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Bob Casey (D-PA)...
