WTO ministers call for fisheries text; no advance on Appellate Body impasse

Trade ministers meeting on the margins of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development meeting in Paris directed negotiators to move toward text-based negotiations in hopes of reading agreement at the World Trade Organization to ban harmful fisheries subsidies, according to Geneva sources.
