WTO members deadlocked on TRIPS waiver, might come too late for COVID-19

World Trade Organization members remain divided on a proposal to enact a temporary waiver that would allow countries to sidestep intellectual property obligations to respond to the pandemic, leading some analysts to believe the waiver, if ever adopted, won’t come in time to help combat the public health crisis.
