WTO arbitrator authorizes Korean retaliation against U.S. in zeroing case

A World Trade Organization arbitration panel has authorized Korea to retaliate against the U.S. for improperly calculating antidumping and countervailing duties on large residential washers, devising a formula for Korea to use when the Commerce Department employs the so-called “zeroing” methodology in antidumping duty cases for other products.
