USTR finds more digital services taxes discriminatory, again defers action

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has issued more findings from its Section 301 investigations of digital services taxes imposed by other countries as well as an update on taxes still under consideration. USTR on Thursday issued reports on its probes of taxes adopted by Austria, Spain and the United Kingdom , saying each “discriminates against U.S. companies, is inconsistent with prevailing principles of international taxation, and burden or restricts U.S. commerce.” The move was reported by Inside U.S....
