USTR extends Section 301 tariff exclusions, allowing more time for review
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has extended two tranches of exclusions from Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods to allow for “further consideration” under an ongoing review, the agency announced on Wednesday. The much-watched four-year review, which began last year, is expected to be completed in the fall , USTR Katherine Tai told lawmakers over the summer.
